As many of you know, there have been plenty of hot summer days.

There are plenty of people who are smart enough not to leave their loved ones in a hot vehicle unattended, but unfortunately, not everyone is that smart.

It doesn't take long for the temperature to rise and rise quickly on a hot summer day and its quick for your dog to go into heat distress.

If you have to travel with your dog, take your extra key and leave the vehicle running with the air on and place a sign in the front window.

I have one that reads:

EVEN THOUGH THE DOGS ARE IN THE VAN ON A HOT DAY, THE ENGINE IS RUNNING AND THE AIR ON.

ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL MY CELL AND LEAVE NUMBER.

IF YOU SEE ANY PERSON OR DOG LEFT IN A LOCKED CAR AND YOU SEE THEM IN DISTRESS, SMASH OUT THE WINDOW AND GET THEM WATER AND COOL THEM OFF BY SPLASHING THE WATER ON THE CHEST AREA.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS MORE!
